As a PADI Open Water Diver, you will possess a solid working knowledge of SCUBA, you will have mastered all of the basic skills needed to be a diver, and be confident after having completed 5 confined water training sessions, and 4 open water dives. All of my classes are conducted on a private, or semi-private basis. GET STARTED HERE
STEP 2. Confined Water. Learning about diving is cool, but this is where the fun starts. We meet at the Drop Zone Pool in Perris, CA., and work through 5 sessions. Here you will learn, practice, and master your SCUBA skills. You will enjoy a relaxed experience, and personal attention.
STEP 1. Knowledge Development. The PADI E-Learning program is best here in So. California... No driving! You finish this at your own pace, and we meet for an orientation/ review before jumping into the water. A classroom version is also available if you prefer. Here, we will meet for an orientation followed by three classroom sessions. GET STARTED HERE.
STEP 3. Open Water. The hard work's all been done. Nothing left to do now, but make 4 open water dives in a protected cove at Catalina Island. Few divers get certified at such a beautiful, prestigious location. BUT, if your plans are to run off to a warm water location, you have the option to complete your open water dives there, with a local PADI Instructor. Check out my OPEN WATER REFERRAL.
